Vauxhall’s pilot Motability Scheme TV advert and our latest influencer activity

Information on our new Scheme awareness activity

Throughout November, Vauxhall ran a test television advertising campaign for the Scheme in Yorkshire Tyne Tees. The objectives was to help raise awareness of the Scheme amongst eligible audiences, prompt action to find out more and visit a local Vauxhall dealership. We have worked with them in an advisory capacity on the approach and content.

Feedback on the advert has been overwhelmingly positive, if you’ve not seen it (or want to watch again) you can on our Facebook Page here. Early results are encouraging and will help us in our efforts to make sure no one misses out on the Scheme through ignorance.

Social media influencers with large followings among disabled people are also a valuable source of information for customers and potential customers. We have therefore been working with Jack Binstead (@jackbinstead) and Gem Hubbard (@wheelsnoheels) to create video content. The ‘A Day in the Life’ videos will show Jack and Gem discussing how their Scheme car enables them to go about their day-to-day activities. The content will be shared across our website and Facebook Page as well as on Jack and Gem’s social media channels.
